Hey guys, it’s Liam from Killer Ink, and today we’re going to be taking a look at the ever-popular Cheyenne HAWK Thunder.
The HAWK Thunder is a great all-rounder rotary that excels at lining, shading and colour packing.
So, let’s take a closer look…
After receiving plaudits for the HAWK Spirit, Cheyenne wanted to push the boat out further with its next machine release – and that’s where the HAWK Thunder came in.
Artists immediately fell in love with Cheyenne’s HAWK Thunder, thanks to its all-rounder approach that meant it shone in all aspects of tattooing.
An increase stroke length of 4mm, coupled with a new drive and optimised motor, resulted in a rotary machine that offers fast strokes and quick punctures.
It wasn’t all change, however, as the distinctive, ergonomic design of the Thunder remained similar to its Spirit predecessor.
Powering the HAWK Thunder is a precision DC motor, with the machine featuring a 3.5mm jack plug connection at the end.
The rotary is very silent and provides a low level of vibration when working, making it a comfortable and easy machine to use.
Just like the Spirit, the HAWK Thunder can be used with conventional cartridges from all the major brands, including Cheyenne’s own HAWK Cartridges and its latest Craft Cartridges.
Cheyenne’s HAWK Grips are the perfect accompaniment to the HAWK Thunder and are available in both 21 and 25mm diameters.
The Cheyenne HAWK Thunder is available to order from Killer Ink Tattoo in various colours from the link in the description below. We also offer packages that feature the machine, HAWK Grips, a Cheyenne PU power supply and HAWK foot switch.
